Spring Break Story Theater Workshops!
Staying in Jersey City this spring break? Come travel the world with us. JCCT is proud to present our Spring Break Story Theater Workshops!
Join Jersey City Children's Theater for an afternoon drop-off program featuring stories from some of our performances--World Play, The Golden Key, and Enchanted Forest. Each session will kick off with two JCCT teaching artists performing a story from one of popular performances. A fun and creative workshop follows, focusing on the featured story using Story Theater improvisation games and techniques.
Creating prop pieces, such as shadow images is also included.
In these daily intensives, children focus on story, character, plot, as well have a great time transforming into the characters from the story. Parents and caregivers are invited to come for the last 10 minutes of the class to see what everyone has learned!
Who: Children 4 and older
Where: Barrow Mansion, 83 Wayne Street
Costs: $25 each session. $15 sibling discount. 3 or more sessions for $20 each!
Time: 2:00 to 3:30 each day
